Gallery of Housing Options

For those of you who are curious what apartments look like in Korea...
(This is really a gallery of pictures rather than a commentary.)

Housing Options We Saw

Beverly Hills...

There really wasn't much nearby...nothing to walk to and no car yet...hmmm problem.

House off main road leading to Camp Humphreys...
Our second choice:

 Definitely older bathrooms...

We were dreaming of "Ip Man"-type workout sessions on this amazing rooftop.
Too bad the apartment itself was on the 3rd floor (yeah no elevator).
 Beautiful views!!

I think this one was in Orange County...
The American names people choose for housing here are hilarious.
Wasn't much nearby. Nothing we could walk to.

This is Ace Town...lots of Americans

Third floor...lots of stairs for walking dogs up and down minimum 3 times a day...

Lots of Americans out and about...yelling at their kids.
We wanted something a little different.

This place was beautiful. They did a wonderful renovation here. We wanted to be closer to restaurants and shops and live among Koreans...we live near Americans all the time ;)
Also, with dogs to take out many times a day...3 flights of stairs was going to get old quick.

Only highrise we looked at...parking was a nightmare and space was REALLY small.

Flooring was already pretty scratched, so dogs would not have worked well here.

 The tiniest balcony/sun porch ever...
